Fidelis Executive Management Team

Dustin Lee

President

In February 2013, Dustin Lee started Fidelis Sustainability Distribution as the 80% owner, president and chief executive officer. Mr. Lee is the SBVOSB (Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business) principle. While working in the medical device industry he saw other veteran owned government procurement companies with little inside the industry experience. As he worked with these companies he saw the need for government contract procurement with both veteran status and actual industry experience. In late 2012, Mr. Lee decided that it was time to make things that way they should be again by returning to his roots of leading from the front.

From Dustin:

“I’m the Veteran Principal at FSD. It won’t take you long to see that I lead from the front. This isn’t a common government distributorship management theme. I was an operator as a Marine Corps Scout Sniper. I was in Mission planning with high level brass and hours later on the battle field as an operator. With that said you won’t find arm chair sales and business leadership at FSD. You’ll find us running towards gunfire to serve our customers and the all the obstacles that may occur in route will be handled in stride.  My experiences to do so started at a young age, from athletics, my Marine Sniper Combat operations in Afghanistan to my leadership role as the principal of Fidelis Sustainability Distribution.

I look forward to showing you how my team and I operate to make you and your team’s lives easier in supporting our customers at all levels. Please reach out to me directly for any needs. See you on the field.”

Joel Kohn

Sales and Marketing Advisor

Joel Kohn has over 15 years of dedicated sales and marketing experience in the medical device industry across multiple distinct clinical specialties, including implants and instrumentation for craniofacial, orthopaedic, spine, and osteobiologics.  His organizational experience ranges from a small start up company with minimal cash flow to a large multinational device leader.  Mr. Kohn brings a wealth of knowledge related to internal product development activities, regulatory requirements, and each element of the sales process.  His experience is well-suited to consult with Fidelis Sustainability Distribution, LLC (FSD) as the company seeks to identify, vet out, and partner with certain medical device companies for the procurement of government contracting.

Mr. Kohn received his Bachelor’s degree in Biologic Sciences from University of California, Davis and his Master’s degree of Business from the University of Redlands.

From Joel:

“The opportunity to improve a system or process by drawing from and applying my own unique experiences is extremely exciting.  Government contract procurement within the medical device industry is a very niche market with few other SDVOSB’s having direct knowledge and of what happens at the account level and/or within device manufacturing facilities.  It is this knowledge and expertise that will help set apart the services offered by FSD.  Even more exciting is the opportunity to work alongside a team of friends/colleagues with mutually aligned goals and who hold themselves and each other to such high standards.”
